Mighty

She was overwhelmed, sick and dizzy;
And she fainted.

Three days later she woke up; her back against a small bush.
Except it wasn’t a bush, but a big tree.

The first thing she noticed was the amount of insects flying around her.
Except they weren’t insects, but birds.

She was now taller than most mountains and little clouds faded away as she walked.

The evil men downstairs were scared, freighted by such power.
No man in the village was used to strong women.

Since she was closer to the sun, large drops of sweat kept running down her covered face.
She was on the verge of passing out.
If she fell, it would be a big fall.

So she did something.
She took off her vest and showed her face for the whole world to see.

And the whole world saw it.
And the whole world applauded.

And like clouds, fear faded away.
